SNOOZ Breez Fan Recall (Fire Hazard)
SNOOZ recalled its first-generation Breez 2-in-1 bedroom fan and white noise machine after the power connector was found to corrode and potentially overheat, posing a fire risk. Owners can check their serial number for a free replacement fan.
What happened
SNOOZ, Inc. and CPSC announced a voluntary recall April 9, 2026 (Recall No. 26-388), covering about 11,900 U.S. units. The company reported six cases of fans overheating or smoking, including one fire; no injuries were reported.
Who may be affected
Anyone with a Breez fan with a serial number starting BZ10, BZ02, or KTCD (underside of the wooden base), bought roughly June 2023–December 2025, may want to check their unit.
